Dyslipidemia

Dyslipidemia is a condition of unhealthy levels of one or more kind of lipid (fat) in blood. Blood contains three main types of lipid: high-density lipoprotein (HDL), low-density lipoprotein (LDL), triglycerides (TG).

In dyslipidemia, it usually means LDL levels or TG are too high or HDL levels are too low.

Overtime, dyslipidemia causes atherosclerosis, coronary artery disease, heart attacks & strokes.
